Sturdy 26″ foundry flask tongs for handling graphite crucibles. Available to purchase alone or with a choice of 4kg or 5kg graphite crucibles. Please select from drop down which option you require. The tongs are are 26″ long and constructed of tubular steel. The jaws are designed to hold and handle round crucibles/flasks. Designed to hold flasks/crucibles ranging from approx 2-1/2″ up to 4″.

This 26″ long universal tongs is the best tool for holding flasks. The rounded head is easy to store, and the tongs give you a safe distance when handling or pouring hot molten metal. Heavy-duty tongs will hold the edges of the crucible firmly, they will not move around the circumference of the crucible. The tongs opening ranges from 3 1/8 inch to 5 7/8 inch. The tongs can hold and handle 3/4kg casting crucibles. Holds casting crucibles up to 6″ in diameter and ideally up to 7″ in diameter. Rated to withstand temperatures up to 1560°F to 2912°F (850°C to 1600°C)
